Gradefund is a website that rewards students for academic excellence. GradeFund's users are split into two groups, Students and Sponsors. Students post their transcripts and grades and get rewarded through sponsors. Sponsors buy GradePoints to sponsor students.
This site is coded with PHP, using object oriented programming. I took over the programming on this project after another coder left. I completed the site and it was launched.

I was tasked with creating an Android version of this app. We had already made an iOS version, and wanted to also support Android devices. I had written the PHP code that interacts with the database for the iOS app, and I had adapted it to work with the Android app as well.

ArtSavvy is a social networking site for artists. The site is based around users locations (zip and postal codes), allowing users to be able to see the artwork before purchasing it. Users are able to post multiple pictures of their pieces, as well as videos if they desire. The site also has a listing of venues and events happening at venues. Users can form a collaboration to work on a project as well. Users can browse artwork or find other artists by location.
CiteSimple is a citation generator website. CiteSimple generates MLA and Turabian/Chicago citations. For a monthly or yearly fee, the user can upgrade their account (through Google Checkout) which allows them access to new features. Users who are logged in can save citation lists for later use. The user can also email, print, or export their citation lists to a .doc format.
The website is programmed with PHP using object oriented programming. The citation lists and user base are stored in a MySQL database.
