
The Cyborg Scarf is to look like a really elegant scarf from first glance, but when you look closer, you see ‘holes’ that peer into the inner machinery.

This project was designed around the theme of the legend of Atlantis. The object of the project was to create 6 different samples that could be made into larger garmets.

This bag was part of a project to design and create 3 identical bags. This is one of the three. On the inside of the bag, there is a screen printed lining as well as a change purse with a screen printed heart on it.

Last year, I was chosen to participate in a project called Digital Threads. In October 2007, I attended a workshop at the Interaccess Media Centre in Toronto about electronics and textiles. I was given a group of grade 10 high school students to work with, and I helped them to create a small electronic textile piece. The students were given an assignment to create Superheros. My project was to work from their images to create a textile-based artifact.
The idea for this shirt came from a sample of another collection I created (Stripes and Dots, Design Section). The colors are completely changed.

Lights out.
These boots act like light up shoes. When you press down on them with your feet, the LEDs inside the swirl shapes light up.
